Siam Mandalay’s Snake Cube combines simplicity and smart design solutions in one cool puzzle that will definitely be fit for both kids and adults.
The puzzle in it’s disassembled for looks like a long zigzag made of cubes. The point of the puzzle is to rotate the cubes and assemble a cube from one long strings.
Sounds easy enough? Think again! It is, of course, not entirely hard, but might take you around an hour to fully complete and understand its mechanism,
Additionally, it is also very easy to get distracted and start compiling some funny shapes from it (at least I did).
The wood is of a great quality and gives away a great smell that will relax and sooth you.
Overall, the puzzle design and mechanism is smooth and pleasant, very well-made puzzle for its price.

Apart from just assembling — you can also try making different shapes with it. I got distracted and end up with a rough looking gun. 🙂
The rotating parts are smooth for the most part. Sometimes it can take a bit of jiggling to fit the parts, but most snake cubes that I have stumbled upon have this issue.
The good thing is that the wooden parts are quite well fit together, so there is almost no chance you pinch your finger when rotating the parts (and it happened to me a lot with other puzzles of the same kind).

A very neat looking thing that will bring a lot of fun and joy for both kids and adults.
Solving snake cube puzzles can be a great way to distract yourself in the middle of a busy day to relax and collect your thoughts — it is not hard and will keep you distracted from the outer world problems for 30-40 minutes for sure.
