About The Monkey’s Nuts Puzzle
Monkey’s nuts is a trick bolt designed by Two Brass Monkeys.
To be honest, it’s not much of a puzzle, because probably you will be able to unscrew the two bolts in the first few seconds. So what’s the point though?
The thing is that both bolts can be unscrewed by rotating them in opposite direction. So, when you rotate the first bolt clockwise it goes down, but when you rotate the second bolt counterclockwise it goes down as well! How is that possible?

Conclusion
Well, this is where the puzzle part comes in. It’s more of a challenge to understand how the puzzle was constructed and engineered. A very interesting approach, but if you are not a diehard fan of state-of-the-art engineering solutions — it will probably be a bit anticlimactic for you.
