“Power of the ring” is a puzzle that does not look like your typical Wil Strijbos puzzle. Usually, all puzzles by Wil are cubical, metal, and extremely hard.
Power of the Ring adopts only the last aspect — the difficulty and overall takes an interesting and unique approach.
The puzzle looks like a bottle with the inserted wooden strand inside. The strand has a few holes: one small with a thread inside and one big.
The tread attached to the strand has two wooden balls on each side that prevent the wooden strand to be pulled out of the bottle completely.
Finally, there is a small ring that is attached to the thread — this is the ring that you need to release from the bottle completely.
The quality of the puzzle is quite good. Everything is solid and made with good materials. Of course, the puzzle has to be tended with great care — if you accidentally drop it, chances are the bottle will crack and the puzzle itself will be ruined.

Tips and Tricks
- First of all, get the ring inside the big hole of the shaft and pull it out of the bottle.
- Hold the ring and slide the shaft back into the bottle
- Put the ring on top of the shaft and slide the ring halfway.
- Put the whole construction inside the bottle and wiggle the shaft to release the ring inside the bottle.
- Place the released ring inside the long hole again and slide it out of the bottle.
