Description
I usually imagine a 3D puzzle as something made out of wood and having a set manual on how to complete it. Well, today we have a Crystal Dragon by BePuzzled that is really a puzzle as you have to complete it all by yourself, without any guidance and hand holding.
The quality of the material is very good, solid plastic is perfectly made and cut so there are no imperfections and discrepancies between pieces, and they fit perfectly.
The dragon, when assembled, is not as big as you can imagine it by the pictures. In fact, it is quite small and can fit on your palm easily. Definitely, there is a need for a 10-15 inch version of this.
The difficulty of the puzzle is much harder that you can imagine. At first, I was thinking that even a 5-year-old can do this, but I was really surprised to see it is not as easy as it seemed.
Basically, the whole idea is to assemble the dragon from bottom to the top with aligning the pieces on top of each other. In that way it seems that you gave multiple disks that you need to place in the right order for the dragon to start taking shape. At the same time, on the way to your progress, you will need to assemble separate parts like hands, legs and wings and attach it in the right place.
This is actually quite hard, despite the low number of parts — it is quite easy to get confused when and how to chain them together to achieve the proper result.
The whole Assembly is very interesting and the end result brings the much-needed feel of achievement.
Safe to say, when the dragon is assembled — it looks stunning. More to that, it comes in 3 amazing colors, each one is better than the last: black, purple and red. All colors are looking superb and are shining both in natural and artificial light.
Conclusion
Great way to spend an evening and have an amazing 3D Puzzle on your shelf afterwards. Can be a thoughtful gift for someone who is into fantasy and pretty trinkets.
Definitely a mind-boggling experience despite the fact it seems quite easy to assemble, so don’t take it lightly!
