Visual Description
Royal Voyager by TimeForMachine definitely impressed me at the first glance. I immediately decided that want that model to be standing on my shelf or on the table at the office.
The amount of details is second to none — all the doors, hood and roof is adjustable and can be fiddled with, which is quite hard to execute with metal 3D models.
Packaging of the model deserves a separate mention. The metal plates are held in the accordion sleeve type envelope that hold all parts separately. All additional tools and gears are placed separately and can be put back to the box anytime without fear of losing or misplacing them.
Main Features
The door and trunk can be opened and special handle can turn on and off the engine block. The car itself is very detailed: from the internal engine to car interior. Additionally, the roof of the vehicle can be taken off turning it into cabriolet.
As for the assembly itself — it’s not the easiest one. There are a lot of small parts and a lot of instances where you need to bend certain parts the right way. That alone gives me the creeps as I fear I would break something or bend the wrong way resulting in a fatal mistake and a botched model.
Nevertheless, the fear of ruining everything kept me extremely focused — and I think that’s not bad. The car turned out to be just the way it is on the promotional pictures.
Conclusion
Interesting model, especially if you are a fan of old 70s Rock’n’Roll. It is not suited for kids, but can be assembled together with them, just bear in mind it will take a lot of time.
To keep your focus, We would also suggest breaking the assembly on 2-3 sessions of several hours and take breaks regularly.
