Visual Description
One thing that is better than assembling a wooden steampunk-esque wonders of Ugears is to assemble a clockwork mechanism.
The model in the spotlight this time is a baroque looking timer that can be wind-up for up to 20 minutes.
Arch-like form resembles the table-top watch and has the nostalgic feel of an old grandma’s clock.
See-through exterior is perfectly combined with the mechanisms inside — that way you are able to enjoy the moving gears that are accompanied by the soft wooden ticking and relaxing movement of a small pendulum.
Main Features
The one and only feature of a timer is, surprisingly, and actual wind-up timer. Literally can be used for anything: working out? Keep the timing of your exercises! Boil eggs with maximum precision!
You can use the small counter-handle at the lower part of the model to adjust the timing. Every quarter of a turn will mean 5 minutes. Consequently, the full turn will set your timer to 20 minutes.
After that, just wind up the alarm and get your countdown going.

Conclusion
Great and aesthetically pleasing model. Not a hard assembly, most probably will take from 2 to 5 hours depending on our skill and expertise.
Additionally, quite useful in everyday life. It would be great to add some kind of sound mechanism that would indicate the alarm, but even without it the models is great.
We would definitely recommend taking a look at that model if you are a first timer.
