About Orpheus Steampunk Music Box
The model itself looks like a steampunk robot with a whopping height of almost 20 cm. Arms and legs are movable and to add more — robot’s wrists can be rotated as well.
Legs and feet are wide and stable giving the piece a good posture. You can have it sitting as well which creates a very cute pose.
The body is in simple cubical shape. Nevertheless, the exterior sports a few cool details that definitely make it stand out — there is a big heart shaped window (that’s where the LED module comes in) and a few cog shaped details here and there.
Of course, it is not as detailed as Ugears models, but the inner side of the Robot is what matters the most in this case.
To, literally, top it off — the music box is located at the head and is protected by a transparent plastic half-sphere to ensure you can see the mechanism moving upon wind up.
Features
Oh well, where do we begin? I have already mentioned a few features, but here are the details.
Firstly — the music box. The mechanism for the music box is inserted inside the robot’s body, and is connected to the wind up mechanism. It plays soothing melody that is called “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli.
Secondly, is a small LED model that can be turned on any time and act as a night light ‚ the light is pretty strong for a tiny bulb, yet warm and relaxing. Bear in mind, it requires batteries that do not come in pack, so better take some from your remote (jk, they won’t fit).
Anyway, I have already mentioned the movable limbs and a cool plastic head guard that covers the wind-up mechanism — charming and cool!
Conclusion
Definitely a great model. Will fit perfectly as a night light in a kid’s room or in the office alike. If you are a fan of steam-punk — you can definitely use that model as your night light as well.
Surprising, but awesome find. Interesting near-perfect and cool complexity/fun balance makes this awesome piece a must-have fro anyone who’s into 3-D puzzles.
A great puzzle that gives that pleasant sense of achievement in the end.

Assembly Tips
- Make sure to use sandpaper for all parts! Yes, it might be time-consuming but is absolutely necessary for a smooth assembly.
- Use q-tips to get rid of excessive glue. You can go without that, but in the end the model might look a bit messy, Wiping excess glue will make it look nicer in the end.
- It might be easier to start with arms and legs. Assemble the body in the end and attach everything together — it will also help you to get rid of all smaller parts in the beginning and not get confused.
