Visual Description

Perpetual Calendar by ROKR is one of those 3D Wooden Puzzles that have a more practical side than actual solving and assembling function.

It is amazingly easy to assemble that wooden puzzle as it has only 26 parts, most of the parts are pretty big, so you won’t need fine-tuning or precision and dexterity handwork to put it together.

The beauty of this 3D wooden puzzle is that, despite the fact that it can be assembled pretty fast and without much effort, it looks quite complex and absolutely stunning.

Amazing design solutions make that parallax feel work wonders and everyone will be dazed by the look of the assembled wooden puzzle.

More to that, the size of the completed ROKR model is quite big which also adds the value and impressiveness factor.

Main Features

By aligning the pieces of the calendar and rotating the dials with Years and Month you can easily see what day will be on a certain date.

Basically that is the sole function of the calendar and there is not much to say about the. The years go from 2018 and to as far as 2040 and the calendar is amazingly accurate. We haven’t checked all dates, but we have picked a few dates randomly and everything seems to be in order.

Comparison with Mayan Calendar by WoodTrick

Mayan Calendar looks a bit more impressive but at the same time is much harder to build. Both calendars have the same function and are pretty accurate. The Mayan Calendar is much bigger, so probably won’t be looking good on your desk whereas the Perpetual Calendar can look very organic on a desk or a shelf.

Lastly, Mayan calendar goes as far as 2044, which is a bit more than the one by ROKR.

Great model and an amazing piece for everyone who wants to try 3D Wooden Puzzles for the first time.

Definitely a great way to start your journey as it will not scare you off with the number of parts and complexity of the assembly. Just don’t get too disappointed if you get it completed in 30 minutes.

Did not work. Waste of time and money. Cool laser cut pieces. Instructions could be better. Referring videos and instructions did not work. Big disappointment. Worked on gas chromatography repairs and ultrasound flow repairs, etc. Not stupid just bummed.
